Payments

Payments is a licensed module (cms.payments). It is not full e-commerce — it covers light checkout and display links for practice sites (donations, invoices, a few SKUs).

License

Your signed license must include cms.payments. Control Panel → License shows Licensed / Installed / Available for each feature.

Configure

Tools → Payments (Administrators):

  • Stripe Checkout — publishable + secret keys; optional success/cancel URLs

  • PayPal.me — username for pay links

  • Square — payment link URL

  • Zelle / Venmo — display-only handles or instructions (no API capture)

Settings persist in storage/app/private/payments-settings.json (encrypted where applicable). Do not commit this file.

Page Builder — Payment buttons

On Content → Pages with Page Builder enabled, add a Payment buttons section. Pick which enabled providers to show (Stripe, PayPal, Square, Zelle/Venmo). Stripe opens Checkout; others render as configured links or display blocks.

Requires cms.payments licensed and at least one provider configured in Tools → Payments.

What this is not

  • Not WooCommerce / full catalog + cart + tax engine

  • Not in-form Stripe fields (use Payment buttons or external embed)

  • Not HIPAA payment capture inside CMS forms — use your compliant processor

See Page Builder and Control Panel guide.
