Theme & branding
Three layers work together on the public site:
Branding (
/cp/appearance/branding) — primary / accent / ink colors; favicon; light and dark logos →branding.jsonandpublic/assets/brand/Site Theme (
/cp/theme) — layout chrome →theme.jsonStyling (
/cp/appearance/styling) — prose fonts (body + heading), sizes, lists, and link styles →styling.json. Font presets include ~25 Google Fonts (Inter, Manrope, Poppins, Playfair Display, and more) plus System UI and Georgia; only selected families are loaded.
Site Theme keys
Page width, hero bleed, nav style, nav layout (top header vs side sidebar), header transparency, shadow, background color/opacity, nav border, media style, footer style, footer nav layout, copyright ({year}), legal link, social icons, section density, CTA style, and Top Bar (Above Header) background, lower border, text color, and size (default white + light grey border). Starter packs (Classic, Clinic Full-Bleed, Editorial, Minimal) write layout keys and keep existing Top Bar colors.
Side navigation + sticky
When Layout / UX → Header uses Side layout and sticky is on (default), the left rail fills the viewport height (minus the Top Bar). Scroll appears only if the nav links themselves overflow that height — not because the sidebar column is short.
Home / Landing Page
When enabled on the homepage, a full-viewport hero uses a library image, autoplay video (with poster fallback), or an animated shader preset (same catalog as Page Builder Hero — background + accent colors and speed). Optional dim overlay, title/description/button in a centered panel (transparent or dimmed black/white), custom text and button colors, and optional scroll fade into the normal page background. Homepage body content sits below the hero.
Contrast hints (accessibility)
Site Theme shows non-blocking warnings when hero text, hero button, or navigation colors may fail WCAG AA contrast (4.5:1). These are editor guidance only — they do not change the public site. Adjust text, button, header background, or panel dim/overlay until warnings clear.

Site Settings also control site name, homepage slug, and search visibility (index / noindex) which updates robots.txt.
