Assets & media

Content → Assets (/cp/assets) is the Asset Library: Brand, Images, Documents, Videos, Avatars, plus custom sections.

Public vs private

  • Public library — TipTap / Page Builder uploads go to public/assets/library/… (and Brand under public/assets/brand/). These URLs are world-readable.

  • Private — form file uploads under storage/app/private/form-uploads/…; user avatars on the private assets disk, served only via authenticated /photos/…. Never commit private storage or secrets.

Use Assets when picking slideshow images, video files, file-link documents, and map-related media. Prefer the library over hotlinking third-party images when you need long-term control.
